The first personal exhibition of Mika Plutitskaya "Like a Roundabout in a Childhood" is held in the space CUBE Moscow. The artist presents 14 works from the "Forest deer" series. The central theme of the series is the phenomenon of memory. To study it, the artist repeated and scaled the composition and the plot many times. In this way, Mika expressed the feelings of impermanence and blurred memory.

Mika Plutitskaya (born in 1983) is a Moscow artist, a Graduate of the British baccalaureate program at the BHS (course "Contemporary art"). The Central theme of Mika's artistic practice is the processing of images of the Soviet heritage. Her works al address issues of gender-based violence and the history of political activism.

Why the Soviet heritage? Mika answers that one of the reasons is her age, belonging to the "intermediate generation", which did not have a chance to become Octobrists, but knows how the pioneer camp is organized."The Soviet is more about the memory of memory than your own experience.»
